Extended warranty plus pre-paid maintenance equals carefree riding

Expensive toys, these motorcycles we ride. They’re expensive to buy and expensive to keep. For most of us, though, they are worth the price.

Since most motorcycles do represent a pretty big investment, it only makes sense to protect that investment.

Probably the best way to protect your investment is with a pre-paid maintenance agreement and an extended warranty from Route 15 Honda/Yamaha.

Bob Kurzweil, owner of Route 15, explained that both programs take most of the worries out of owning a motorcycle.

"All you have to worry about is gas," Kurzweil said. "You don’t have to worry about any unanticipated problems."

With the pre-paid maintenance agreement, you get regular maintenance for three years for the price of two years. The price, by the way, is just $689.

"That’s a bargain," Kurzweil said, "and you can have your oil changed as often as you like, once a week if you want."

The pre-paid maintenance agreement is available on every new bike purchased and includes all regular and scheduled maintenance.

Kurzweil explained that with the extended warranty, you get up to 48 months protection on most new bikes - as much as 84 months on some models - and is even available for up to a year after you purchase the bike.

The extended warranty covers almost everything, with the exception of things like tires, spark plugs, abuse or negligence.

So, why take a chance with your toy. With the pre-paid maintenance covering service and the extended warranty covering almost everything else, all you need to worry about is where you want to ride next.
